SPEAKING PRACTICE
Speaking practice for beginners to advanced level speakers are available through Skype. (CEFR equivalencies: Beginner - A1/2, Intermediate - B1/2, Advanced - C1/C2. Please indicate your level/certification(s), as well as your goal(s) for learning English in order for us to cater to your specific needs!).
Monthly lesson plans are listed below:
OPTION A ($135/month): 20 minutes ~ 5 lessons/week (20x/month)
OPTION B ($120/month): 30 minutes ~ 3 lessons/week (12x/month)
OPTION C ($120/month): 45 minutes ~ 2 lessons/week (8x/month)
OPTION D ($100/month): 1 hour ~ 1 lesson/week (4x/month)
WRITING & GRAMMAR
Essay prompts on various topics based on your current skill level are assigned. The tutor will return your document to you within 1-3 business days, with comments, suggestions, grammatical corrections, and helpful external links for your further study.
Monthly lesson plans based on a 350-450 word limit are listed below:
OPTION A ($60/month): 1 article/week (4 articles/month)
OPTION B ($110/month): 2 articles/week (8 articles/month)
OPTION C ($160/month): 3 articles/week (12 articles/month)
OPTION D ($210/month): 4 articles/week (16 articles/month)
CRITICAL READING & PROSE ANALYSIS
Critical reading and prose analysis are common methods that help you expand your vocabulary, as well as help you become a more fluent reader. The student is expected to read through the assigned article prior to the lesson and answer a set of questions from the tutor. The tutor and student will go through the texts together to analyze figures of speech, and explore more complex English constructions and styles (eg. prose, poetry, scientific writing, etc.)
OPTION A ($70/month): 1 article/week (4 articles/month)
OPTION B ($130/month): 2 articles/week (8 articles/month)
OPTION C ($190/month): 3 articles/week (12 articles/month)
OTHER SERVICES
Rush-order document editing (e.g., within 12 hours): $35/page (12 point, Times New Roman font - circumstantial)
Academic Essay Editing & Consultation: $40/hour
